💜 Rock the Ribbon – Morning Tea for Pancreatic Cancer Awareness
Rock the Ribbon is a special morning tea dedicated to raising awareness and funds for pancreatic cancer — one of the most aggressive and under-recognised cancers worldwide.
Pancreatic cancer begins in the pancreas, a small but vital organ that sits behind the stomach and helps the body digest food and regulate blood sugar. Because symptoms are often vague and appear late, pancreatic cancer is frequently diagnosed at an advanced stage, making it one of the deadliest forms of cancer. Currently, survival rates remain low, and research is urgently needed to improve early detection, treatment options, and outcomes.
This event brings our community together over tea, conversation, and connection — all while supporting vital research and offering hope to those affected. By “rocking the ribbon” and wearing purple, we stand in solidarity with patients, families, and loved ones impacted by pancreatic cancer.
Every cup poured and every donation made helps fund life-saving research, raise awareness of symptoms, and move us closer to earlier diagnosis and better treatments.
