My target 200 kms
Purpose for this
After the passing of a family member who took me on my very first run — a moment where I pushed myself harder than I ever had — I’ve realised just how much that experience shaped who I am today.
It feels only right to honour that memory by doing something that pushes me again.
This May, I’ll be running, walking, and riding a total of 200km on top of my normal daily steps, all while wearing a weighted vest.
I’ve chosen this challenge because he served in the Territorial Army, and training with a weighted vest is something I already do — so it feels especially fitting.
Across the month, I’ll carry between 6–15kg each session — a personal test of both physical and mental resilience.
This cause means a lot to me, so if you’re able to donate — no matter how big or small — I’d truly appreciate your support.
