A Birthday with Purpose: Help Me Support Pancreatic Cancer Research
Right now, 78 Australians die from pancreatic cancer every week, and 12 people are diagnosed every day. These are devastating statistics — and they are why I’m determined to help change the story.
Pancreatic cancer is one of the toughest common cancers, and survival rates have barely improved in decades. But research is creating real hope for earlier detection and better treatments.
I’ve been personally impacted by pancreatic cancer, but I’m one of the fortunate ones. I’m now two and a half years on from pancreatic cancer surgery and a splenectomy, and recovering well. I’m deeply grateful for that.
What matters most to me now is helping protect the next generation — ensuring they have access to the best possible testing, earlier diagnosis, and more effective treatments.
Pankind is the only charity in Australia 100% dedicated to improving outcomes for people impacted by pancreatic cancer. They fund promising research, advocate for better care, and support Australians navigating this disease.
For my 70th birthday, I’m asking for your help.
Instead of gifts, please consider making a donation to Pankind. Your support will help fund the research that can change the future for people diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.
Every donation brings us one step closer to better outcomes.
