F80K PanCan – 80,000 Steps for Pancreatic Cancer
On Sunday 18 October 2026, we’re taking on an all-day challenge to walk 80,000 steps in support of pancreatic cancer research.
The walk will begin at 6:00 am at Como Park North, South Yarra. From there, we’ll head city-bound and complete two laps of Melbourne’s Capital City Trail.
Our route will take us through the Royal Botanic Gardens, Southbank, Docklands, Royal Park, Princes Park, Merri Creek, Dights Falls, Yarra Bend and Burnley before returning to Como Park North.
Each lap is approximately 29–30.5 kilometres, giving us a total of around 58–61 kilometres. If two laps leave us short of 80,000 steps, we’ll continue towards Morell Bridge and return until the target is reached.
The event is open to friends, family and anyone whose life has been affected by pancreatic cancer. You can join us for the entire challenge, walk one lap, complete part of the route or support the cause by making a donation.
Every step represents someone remembered, someone still fighting and our shared hope for earlier detection, better treatments and improved survival.
