80K Steps for PanCan

On Sunday 18 October 2026, we’re taking on an all-day challenge to walk 80,000 steps in support of pancreatic cancer research.

The event forms part of PanKind’s Remember September initiative, honouring those we have lost, standing with those currently affected by pancreatic cancer and raising funds to help improve survival rates and outcomes.

We invite friends, family and anyone whose life has been touched by pancreatic cancer to join us. You can take on the full 80,000-step challenge, walk part of the route or support the cause by making a donation.

The walk will begin at 6:00 am at Glenferrie Oval in Hawthorn. Further details about the route and planned stops will be provided closer to the event.

Every step represents someone remembered, someone still fighting and our shared hope for a future with earlier detection, better treatments and improved survival.
