Finally the cut has come

I have been growing my hair since April 2024 when I got the idea to grow it long enough to donate it for a wig creation. So many people with cancer will lose their hair and if I can help make a wig for one person to make that part of having cancer slightly less difficult that would be amazing. If I could also raise much needed funds for cancer diagnosis and treatment that would be sensational!! Some of you know I lost my mother in February 2017 to pancreatic cancer. This is a cancer that needs a lot more research particularly in earlier diagnosis and in treatments. That’s what your donation will go towards. In 2017-2021, individuals diagnosed with pancreatic cancer had a 13.5% chance of surviving for five years. This is only a 0.5% increase since 2012-2016 when my mother was diagnosed. My Mum, survived just a little over 5 years after diagnosis. We need this survival rate to increase significantly!!! Not just 0.5%!!
